What is urology?

The specialty of urology encompasses medical and surgical care for illnesses involving the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra), the adrenal glands and the male reproductive tract. We provide diagnosis and treatment for most urologic conditions, including:

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Kidney stones
  • Interstitial cystitis
  • Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH)
  • Prostate cancer
  • Erectile dysfunction (ED)
  • Neurogenic bladder
  • Bladder cancer
  • Kidney cancer

From our office in Brattleboro, Vermont, we provide urology services to residents of Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and beyond. Many of our patients travel from other parts of the country, preferring the personalized care of our practice to the impersonal, high-volume, big hospital medicine available in their own communities.
